FC Haynes
The Haynes village has seen over 100 years of football with FC Haynes being established during 2018. Teams have been called Haynes Village FC and Haynes Athletic FC, now we have the mighty FC Haynes. We are told that Haynes Athletic used to play on a field next to The Greyhound, now that would have been useful.
Our research has shown that there have been some great teams in Haynes. Haynes Village won the league and cup double in 1970. The village also had strong teams in 1949, 1967, 1972 and 1975 all winning various trophies.
